Intra-Familial Child Sexual Abuse
This is a one day course which has been very well received by local authorities and covers all aspects of this area including sibling abuse.
This course not only covers the awareness of the issue but also examines in detail how to evidence this type of abuse and what support is needed for the child, the siblings and the non abusing parents and carers.

Supporting Traumatised Children
This course looks at what constitutes trauma and the specific elements of childhood trauma, in relation to lifelong implications for health and wellbeing in adulthood. It also covers the trauma recovery model and what this might look like in relation to working with children and adults and how we advised, educate and support people through recovery.
This course can be tailored to the needs of both the Children and Adults Sectors and has also been delivered to Adult Drug and Alcohol services.
This course covers the impact that parental substance misuse can have on some children across the age span and how children describe those experiences.
Within that we examine how practitioners can recognize these issues within families and apply that to the assessment process so that change can happen within the child’s time frame.
In addition we look at capacity to change and what that means for parents who misuse substances and finally how to build resilience in children and families.
This course has been adapted for both Children and Adult services.
